2014 All Metro Honorees
This 2015 All-Metro High School Cross Country Banquet will be held on December 2, 2015 at The Stave Room and Atlanta Track Club. In its 52nd year, the All-Metro Banquet continues to honor top athletes throughout the Atlanta metro area. This year's honorees will be announced on November 10 after the conclusion of the GHSA State Cross Country Championships on November 7 in Carrollton. Athletes will be selected on various criteria including performance at the state meet, head to head competition and a season overview.
Once the 21 male and 21 female athletes have been selected, it will be up to the coaches and community to help place these athletes on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd All-Metro Cross Country Teams based on their performances throughout the year. Voting will open on November 10 and close on November 18 at 11:59 pm at atlantatrackclub.org. Coach's votes will be weighed at 80% and the public at 20%. The 14 athletes that earn a spot on the 1st team will receive a $500 scholarship, and the number one voted athlete will receive the Most Outstanding Cross-Country Athlete Award. The teams and most outstanding athlete will be announced at the banquet on December 2, so be sure to place your votes.
Also being honored at the banquet will be two coaches receiving the Coach's Dedication Awards as well as the coaches who won a state title.
