Austin Wagner of Jenkins County HS has been selected as 1A Public 'Runner of the Week' after his performance at the Ray Miller Invite held at Magnolia Springs State Park. Wagner clocked a 19:38 taking 1st place in the Small School Boys division.
 
Hannah Whitehead of Towns County HS from way up in the mountains of Hiawassee is selected as 1A Public Girls 'Runner of the Week' after winning the George Walton Invite on 9-10, clocking the top time thus far for 1A at 23:08.
