Darlington's Spencer Fields
Alot of experienced XC runners have moved on after having succesful running careers at their schools and this creates great opportunity for the fastest returners in 2A this season. Darlington's Spencer Fields had the #1 returning time of 16:12 (Asics) while making the All-State squad. Fields also had a productive Outdoor season under departed coach Alan Parrish who now lives in Germany. Soph Ben Davies of Holy Innocents pr'd at Asics (16:29) while placing 13th at State. Miller Kettle of GAC has been very steady with a season best (old Bob Roller course- 16:55) and clocked a 1600 4:26 pr at Georgia Olympics.
