4A Boys Pre-Season Rankings #2- Woodward Academy
Woodward comes in this pre-season as #2 after having a great run in 3A last season and the fastest returning team average. A healthy Drew Sands this season could make the difference as he did not compete at State last Fall. The Cardinals have a very experienced group of returning seniors and rated very high in the 2014 Outdoor season and return their 2-6 runners. Sr Alex Murfee has the best pr (15:48 at Asics) I'm not sure what happened to Sands at the end of XC season, but if he's back and healthy it will have an impact. Sr Ben Murray had a fine State outing (16th)along with a pr of 16:06 (Asics) Frank Crippen-Ginsburg had an awesome frosh debut with a pr of 16:10 (Asics) Collin Silliman also ran well at State (20th) and has a speedy pr of 16:13 (Asics)
