Its unfortunate that it seems White County is not coming to NEGA next Saturday as it would setup a big early season individual duel between 2013 3A Champ Jenna Gearing (17:56) and Morgan Ilse of Marist (17:56). Gearing swept every distance title last school term as did Ilse, but surely they will see each other down the road before State. Ilse has slighty better Track times, but Gearing did have a great Outdoor season as well. Marist has 3 other girls with fast pr's (on quick courses) who will be chasing after that duo including Anna Renou (19:12), Kendall Nelson (19:15) and Catie Faust (19:16), Tiffany Mountin from Perry placed 9th at State with a pr of 19:02 at Westover.Bethanie Bailey from Veterans had a tough race at State, but boasts a pr of 19:13 at Westover.
