5A Boys Pre-Season Rankings #5
The Wolves consistently contend for the 2-AAAAA Region title every year and are always sniffing around a Podium spot at Carrollton. They did lose a sold core of 2-4 runners, but had a successful 2014 Outdoor season in the 1600/3200 and ran alot of 4x800's. Greenbrier dropped 4 spots to 8th in 2013 and may have something to prove. Returning to lead their efforts is Logan Hughes (pictured above) who will look to better his 49th at State last year as he has a pr of 15:42 clocked at Furman. Their 2-4 returners have all went sub 17:54 including jr Laquentin Brown who has a pr of 17:13. The Wolves open their season at NEGA and will bump elbows with Marist, North Hall and North Oconee.
