Akua Obeng-Akrofi Signs her NLI with Columbia University
Akua Obeng-Akrofi (Archer HS, Lawrenceville, GA) signed to her National Letter of Intent to run for Ivy League Columbia University (NY) Tuesday at Archer High School. Akua was the Gwinnett County, and Region 8 AAAAAA, Champion in the 100 (11.77) and 200 (24.00) meter Dashes. She also anchored Archer's 4x1 relay (46.53) who currently ranks #2 on the Gwinnett
County ALL-TIME list and #7 on the GA ALL-TIME list, as well as the 4x4 relay (3:45.03) who currently ranks #1 on the Gwinnett County ALL-TIME list and #2 on the GA ALL-TIME list. Akua has a 4.0 GPA, 1800 SAT score.
