Kell's Logan Poteet Dominates Again, Going 9:23 Winning 5A 3200m Gold
5A- Poteet was impressive and very strong in the 1600 going 4:15, could he double in the 3200? Logan left no doubt to who the man in 5A is grabbing the lead early with the pack tucking in behind splitting lap 1 around 1:06. Kell's Poteet created separation of 10m at the 800 mark with 6 runners left in the chase pack and split the 1600 in 4:37, although the chase pack stayed intact..Poteet powered away stretching his lead to the length of the homestretch taking the gun lap and cruised across at 9:23 for the Gold. Max Warner from Forsyth Central(who refused to go away the entire race) took over 2nd before the gun and never looked back seizing 2nd at 9:33. Chase Harris from Bainbridge had a nice race placing 3rd in 9:38 and Union Grove's Connor Dalrymple hung tough for 4th in 9:39.
