The A Public boys team championship is wide open and whoever brings their 'A' game to Jefferson is going to emerge as Champs. Dooly County, Schley County, Terrell County, Hancock Central and Claxton are all pre-meet contenders with Dooly having a slight edge. Raytez Jenkins from Central Talbotton is the speedster to watch in the 100/200 meter races.

Schley County could sweep the Discus behind Isaiah Captain (143-7) and Kapris Battle (135-10) Melvin Alexander from Hancock Central Q'd 1st in the Shot at 46-2, but Captain has the top mark this Spring (46-10) and Deontay Mincey of Claxton (46-4) should be competitive. Gordon Lee is primed to sweep the PV with Drew Cobb and Andrew Towns both having pr's of 12-0. There's some talent in the HJ featuring Jamal McKee of Greenville (6-6) Charlie Staton of Georgia Military (6-4) and Blake Mathis of Terrell County (6-4) The horizontal jumps are competitive as Raytez Jenkins of Central Talbotton has the top LJ mark at 22-2.5 and Jametavious Daniels from Dooly has went 21-10.75.  the TJ will feature Jakyron Young of Irwin County (46-7.25) Devoin Mathis of Dooly (45-3) and TJ Lowe of Georgia Military (45-1.5)

1600 Meters- The 1600 meter race may come to the wire with top contenders being Mark Brannen from Jenkins County (4:54) Alex Dilliard from Claxton (4:56) and Gordon Lee's Dylan Smith (4:57) Friday night's 3200m will be a showdown between Brannen and Smith as both have season bests within 1.19 seconds of each other at 10:30.0
