                        Tyler Ragin Signs his NLI with UT El Paso (UTEP)

A Rutland Hurricane showed the love for The University of Texas at El Paso Fridayafternoon.Tyler Ragin was emotional as she urged her teammates to continue to excel in track and field as she heads off to college. Rutland won the region last season. Ragin has been a finalist for the last three years at the state tournament in the 100 and 200 meters and also does the long jump and the triple long jump. For her efforts UTEP invited her to join their team and hopefully compete for a national championship.

"And the coach just feels like me and with other recruits that are coming in, she can develop a top five, top ten, or a national championship program, so I will be sprinting and jumping, but she thinks that with my size, I might do some hurdles," Ragin said with a smile..Tyler says she also received offers from Georgia Tech, Louisville, and Central Michigan.
