Boys Fleet Frosh Report
Not sure Georgia has in recent history had 6 boys in their 1st HS season do as well. Its alot tougher for guys as upper classmen tend to be much stronger with seasons of high level training their bodies have been through. But these boys have already began establishing themselves as a known quanity. Already fans are hoping to see a duel between Pickens' Sean Parker and Rockdale's Dax Willette. And don't sleep on Jordan Ashwood of Mill Creek as he almost went sub 17 at Carrollton.
Data Spreadsheet
Sean Parker of Pickens County- Thus far, Sean Parker has had the most successful transition from Middle School to HS racing. Already he boasts the top freshman pr, has been named a 4A ROW and won the Ridge Ferry Invite.
Dax Willette of Rockdale County- Willette was literally unheard of till this season. He ran a 10:20 3200 in MS that was not reported and wow..here he is having already won 2 meets and contended at the Battle of Atlanta. He seems to get better every race.
Jordan Ashwood of Mill Creek- Another runner with no prior history (which is not rare for Gwinnett County) Ashwood displayed his strength at Carrollton Orthopaedic clocking a 17:04. Sources from that area say to keep a lookout for Jordan this Fall.
Frank Crippen-Ginsburg of Woodward- Frank began to get on the radar last season at Holy Spirit Prep and transferred to Woodward this Fall. Reports were he had a monster Summer and results confirm that. He's already made an impact for Woodward.
Allen Clark of Lakeside Evans- Clark in no stranger to the 5K distance having ran mid 17's in JV races at Coach Wood and Asics. His best race this season may have been at the testy 'real cross country' Battle of Atlanta course.
Joe Jenkins of Monsignor Donovan- Jenkins has been running maybe since he was 10 years old in AAU/ USATF Club meets. He was at ACS a few seasons, homeschooled and now at GISA Monsignor Donovan. I've seen him run and he's fast. Would like to see him at Nash Farms or Carrollton..
