COACHES - Have buses utilize the Freemanville Rd entrance as this will facilitate more efficient bus unloading at the course start line area. We request spectators to enter the school property from Birmingham Road and park at the main school lots to avoid congestion for buses near the start area.
SCHOOL BUSES ONLY will be able to stop and unload on School Rd nearest the Freemanville/East entrance to the school at the course start area and then be directed to park in the bus loading zone adjacent to Milton HS. BUSES MUST ENTER FROM FREEMANVILLE ROAD (NOT BIRMINGHAM HIGHWAY) OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO UNLOAD NEAR THE START LINE. Teams will need to walk up to the school to load their buses once the meet/awards ceremony is over.

1) Lowest total adjusted score in the 2 varsity races
If still tied, 2) Lowest total adjusted score in the 2 JV races
If still tied, 3) Lowest total adjusted score in the 2 Open races
If still tied, 3) Lowest total placement of each schools 6th runner in each of the varsity races.
If still tied, 4) Lowest total placement of each schools 7th runner in each of the varsity races.
If still tied, 5) Lowest total placement of each schools 6th runner in each of the JV races.
If still tied, 6) Lowest total placement of each schools 7th runner in each of the JV races.

If one school does not have a runner to counter the other schools runner, then they lose this tiebreaker by default.
9) Heck, if its still tied after all that, well flip a coin.

Rules: We will follow NFHS/GHSA rules for uniforms, conduct, etc. We will be using USA Track and Field officials for clerking, starting and umpiring on the course and to verify/backup results tabulation.

Timing & Results: This will be a chip-timed race by the The Perfect Timing Group so make sure you inform all your athletes to turn their chips in at the end of the race or your school will be charged for each one not returned. ALL runners will be timed and scored so enter all of your athletes in the meet. We will have extra zip-ties for timing chips to attach to the runners shoes and extra safety pins at the information tent available to all teams.
