Thomasville High School Quail Trail Invitational cross-country meet at historic Pebble Hill Plantation for Varsity and Middle School men and women. The varsity women's 5K will begin at 9:00 followed by the varsity men at 9:45. The middle school 3K race will follow the completion of the varsity events. There may be separate Middle School girls and boys events based on the number of participants in these events.

Entry fees are $50 for varsity girls and $50 for varsity boys these fees will also include middle school runners. If there is no varsity team entered, the charge will be $30 for the entire middle school team. There is no limit to the number of runners on a team. Schools with less than a full team may enter runners at $10 per runner in the varsity competition or $5 per runner in the middle school. Entry deadline is September 15th. Checks should be made payable to THS XC. Payment can be mailed or paid day of the meet.

Team trophies will be awarded to the first 3 teams in each varsity race and the first place teams in the middle school division. Individual medals will be awarded to the top 5 finishers in each varsity race and the top 5 male and female finishers in the middle school competition.

The 5k course is a challenging yet scenic run over a variety of surfaces (grass, gravel, dirt road) with multiple changes in elevation. It is a GHSA/FHSAA sanctioned event.

Pebble Hill Plantation is located just south of Thomasville, Ga on Hwy 319. Directions can be found on the plantation web-site at www.pebblehill.com. Please follow the signs once you reach the plantation for parking. Restroom facilities are available at the start/finish.

For those of you who have parents that hate to just watch, the plantation is hosting an adult 5K run that morning at 8:00 am benefiting the Archbold Oncology Center.
