Track & Field Invitational

Greetings Coaches:
The Coaching Staff and Administration of Fitzgerald High School invite your track teams to participate in this years Fitzgerald Invitational. We would like to invite both your boys and girls teams to join us for a great day of competition.
The Fitzgerald Invitational will be held at the Fitzgerald Track and Field Complex located behind Ben-Hill Middle School. 134 JC Hunter Drive, Fitzgerald, Georgia 31750-3253. Our complex contains a Mondo eight-lane track, bleachers, designated area for team tents, locker room, restroom facilities and concessions.
The Fitzgerald Invitational is a GHSA sanctioned event and will follow the rules of the GHSA.
Entries: You may have 3 athletes enter into an event and 2 relay teams. The top 2 performers from each school will be scored. No athlete may be in more than GHSA recommended events.
Entry Fees
$60 per team
$100 if entering both teams

The deadline for all participant entries and fees is March 21, 2012.
Please tell your athletes that they will need 1/8 Pyramid Spikes. No needle spikes.

Scoring and Awards
Running events will be timed using FAT. Scoring will be standard (10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1)
Trophies will be given to the top 3 boys and girls teams.
Individual medals will be given to the top 3 finishers in each event.

8:45 a.m. in the Coaches office at the Middle School Field House.
