KENNESAW, Ga. - The Kennesaw State women’s cross country cracked the top ten in the NCAA Division I South Region poll released by the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Monday.
The Owls, who were included in the rankings for the third consecutive week, were ranked 10th in the latest poll, following their second place finish in the Atlantic Sun Cross Country Championship on October 31.
Mackenzie Howe and Erin Sutton were named to the All-Atlantic Sun First Team and Britany Reilly was named to the All-Atlantic Sun Second Team as the Black & Gold finished with 80 points, behind only A-Sun champion Jacksonville, who finished with 43 points.
Stan Sims and his squad will have an opportunity to see how they stack up head-to-head with the best teams in the region when they compete in the NCAA South Region Championship in Tuscaloosa, Ala. on November 14.
