About Me
I ran under the late Ray Buckley and Steve Cunningham at Pace Academy from 1977 to 1983. I taught science and math and coached Cross Country, Track and boys and girls Soccer at The Episcopal School of Acadiana in Lafayette, Louisiana from 1990 to 1997. I taught Physics and other sciences and coached Cross Country and Track at Athens Academy from 1997 to 2005. I then taught science and math and coached Cross Country and Track at Stuart Hall School in Staunton, Virginia from 2005 to 2007. I returned to Athens in August 2007 and I taught MS science and resumed my coaching with the Spartans. For the 2013/2014 school year I taught math and coached Cross Country and Track at Riverside Military Academy, in Gainesville. Starting in the fall of 2014 I joined the faculty and coaching staff at George Walton Academy in Monroe where I coached Track and Cross Country until 2017. For the 2018 season, i am working once again with the Spartans of Athens Academy. From 2018 to 2020 I was on the staff at Brookwood HS, where I assisted Cross Country was the Head Boy's Track and Field Coach. From 2021-2023 I coached CC and Soccer at Commerce HS. Starting fall 2023 I joined the staff at Lake Oconee Academy where I will help with CC, Track and Soccer.
