There is a limit of 25 teams per race; therefore, early registration is highly encouraged. After 25 teams have registered, registration will be closed to that particular race.
Also, there is a maximum number of 10 individual entries per team for the high school varsity races, but the J.V./Middle School/Collegiate races are unlimited with the number of individuals per team that can be entered.
Please note that 8th graders are not permitted by the GHSA to participate in the Varsity Races, but are allowed to compete in the J.V. Races.
Also note that the J.V. Races are not middle school competitions, and Middle School teams should be entered in the Middle School Races.
The schedule for 9/18/2010 is as followed:
1. Middle School Boys 2.6K - 8:00am
2. Middle School Girls 2.6K - 8:25am
3. Mens Collegiate 8K - 9:00am
4. Womens Collegiate 5K - 9:40am
5. GHSA Varsity Girls 5K - 10:15am
6. GISA Varsity Girls 5k - 10:50am
7. GHSA Varsity Boys 5K - 11:25am
8. GISA Varsity Boys 5K - 11:55am
9. GHSA J.V. Boys 5K - 12:30pm
10. GHSA J.V. Girls 5K - 1:00pm
Meet Fees :
Collegiate Races - $85 per team/ $15 per individual/ $15 unattached runners
High School Races GHSA Varsity - $60 per gender/ $100 for both genders High School Races
GISA Varsity - $45 per gender/ $90 for both genders
High School Races J.V. - $50 per gender/ $90 for both genders
Middle School Races - $20 per gender/ $30 for both genders
Cash or Check is required at registration on race day. Please make checks payable to Mercer Athletic Foundation/Cross Country (collegiate entries) or to FPD Cross Country (high school/middle school entries). Do not mail in payment to either institution.
