PLEASE NOTE: NO PETS ARE ALLOWED ON THE ATHENS YMCA GROUNDS. ANYONE WITH A PET WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ENTRY. COACHES AND SPECTATORS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE WOODS. THE YMCA HAS PERSONNEL STATIONED IN THE WOODS. RESTROOMS ARE LOCATED IN THE FIELD HOUSE NEAR THE FINISH LINE. ONLY YMCA MEMBERS ARE ALLOWED ACCESS TO THE MAIN BUILDING.

AGE DIVISIONS
8U (5-8 Year Olds) / Must be 8 years of age or younger as of 12/31/25
10U (9-10 Year Olds) / Must be either 9 or 10 years of age as of 12/31/25
12U (11-12 Year Olds) / Must be either 11 or 12 years of age as of 12/31/25
14U (13-14 Year Olds) / Must be either 13 or 14 years of age as of 12/31/25
18U (15-18 Year Olds) / Must be between 15 and 18 years of age as of 12/31/25
Example: A runner who is currently 12 but turns 13 in November later this year is eligible to run in the 14U division, not the 12U division.
** 13-14 and 15-18 will be awarded separately and split in results **
*The schedule is subject to change depending on the number of entries in each age group and gender. Races are run on scheduled starts. Each race will not start before the scheduled time, but it may start afterward if we get behind.
PAYMENT
Registration is $6 per athlete. Unattached runners are $10 per athlete.
There is a $5 parking/admission fee per vehicle. This will be collected at the walk up gate to the track.
Registration must be completed online. No race day registration.
Payments can be made online on MileSplit via credit card. An invoice can be generated/viewed by clicking "Make Payment" in the bottom right corner of the registration page. Alternatively, payments can be made by check payable to "NE GA Meet Management" and delivered the day of the meet. An invoice can be viewed and printed from the "Reports" section of MileSplit online registration.
AWARDS
Medals will be awarded to the top 10 girls and top 10 boys in each race, except for the 15-18 race. The top 5 girls and boys in the 15-18 age group will be awarded medals. The top finishers will be announced and medals will be distributed shortly after the conclusion of each race.
Team Awards: The first and second place teams in each age group and gender except 15-18 will be awarded a team trophy.
**The North Georgia Youth Cross Country League Championship will be held on Saturday, September 27th. This race is open to unattached runners and teams that have competed in at least three of the five regular league meets for the 2025 season.
