Meet / School Address: Chapel Hill High School, 4899 Chapel Hill Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135

Admission: Spectators Pay HERE.  

Concessions: Hermana's Italian Ice, burgers, hot dogs, and a variety of drinks and snacks will be available throughout the day.  Card and Cash accepted. 

Our Track: 6 Lanes, 2 Long/Triple Jump Pits, 1 High Jump, 1 Discus Ring, 1 Shot Ring, and 1 Pole Vault Pit.  

Entries Per Event: Each school is allowed 6 entries for all field events and open track races.

All Relays are limited to 2 relay teams from each school. LJ, TJ, and Throws:  All finals - 3 attempts only, no finals, 1st legal attempt measured, subsequent attempts must meet standards in parentheses.  Pole Vault and High Jump:  Starting heights listed below in parentheses.

FIELD EVENTS

 4:45pm Events:

Girls (6-6) and Boys (9-6) Pole Vault - Depending on number of entries we will decide if run together or separate.

Girls High Jump (4-6), Boys Long Jump (19-0), Girls Triple Jump (28-0), Girls Shot Put (25-0), Boys Discus (90-0)

  6:00pm Events:

Boys High Jump (5-8), Girls Long Jump (15-0), Boys Triple Jump (38-0), Boys Shot Put (35-0), Girls Discus (70-0)

Running Events:  Rolling Schedule Athletes should listen to announcements and be aware of when their event is approaching. Please check in at the tent located Behind Home Side bleachers of the stadium at 1st call to get hip numbers.. Order of events will be girls followed by boys. We may reseed to consolidate heats if possible. NO 4x200 or 4x800 for times sake.

6:15pm RUNNING EVENTS:

100H/110H, 100, 1600, 4x100, 400, 300H, 800, 200, 3200, 4x400.

Drop off:  Buses may drop kids off at the stadium then park in the Bus Parking by the school. Warmups will be behind the home side stadium and the parking lot area also behind the home side.

Packet Pickup:  Coaches will pick up info packets during the coaches meeting. Meal tickets for breakfast and lunch will be given for Coaches Only at Packet Pickup.

Check-Ins for Athletes: Field event athletes must check in to their field events at the event sites.  Athletes in RUNNING events will check-in behind the Home Side Bleachers at the Check-In Table before last call! Hip numbers will be given at the Check-In Table.  If runners miss check-in, they will not run.

Coaches...Tell your athletes to get to the Check-In Table and check in ASAP. We all want to get home at a reasonable time. Prep your athletes ahead of time, ESPECIALLY your new runners.

Awards:  We will do announcements of awards and coaches can pick up awards at the press box after the meet.  We will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals.  No trophies will be given for the Tune-Up.

Tents:  NO tents on the field or behind the Home Side bleachers. Please place your team in the stands on either side. Please avoid putting tents directly in front of the press box. If you have a huge tent and way too much stuff, you can setup on the Away Side against the fence.

Pole Vault:  Do not forget your Pole Vault Verification form if you have vaulters.  It must be filled out AND It MUST be signed by your Principal AND Athletic Director.

Payment:  Entry fee $250 with both girls and boys together. If you bring just boys or just girls it should be $125.   Please make checks out to Chapel Hill High Panther Club.  Please bring checks to Coachs meeting before the meet begins, or Checks can be mailed to:  Attn: Coach Ellis:  4899 Chapel Hill Rd Douglasville, Ga 30135.
