Chambers throws for US #4 all-time in hammer

Lauren Chambers (pictured left by Tim Fulton) of Kell High School in Marietta, Georgia began her outdoor season on Sunday with a great mark in the hammer throw as she launched a US #4 all-time performance of 191'11". Chambers also had US #1 mark in the weight throw at 58'10". US leading outdoor performances were also produced at the Georgia Weight Throw Championships by Grayson GA senior Nabil Mubarak in both the hammer throw (205'7") and weight throw (73'10"). Mubarak's weight throw mark would rank #2 in the country on the indoor national list. Chambers and Mubarak are entered in both indoor national meets this weekend in Boston and New York. Results
