Please join us for the second annual Shelli Roden Invitational. This will be a professionally timed race by Sole Roots Timing Company. The course is a 2 mile, one loop course for the middle school and a one and half lap course for the high school (one 2 mile loop, followed by a one mile loop, with a tenth of the mile finish). EXTREMELY WELL SHADED. Athletes spend 80% running on trails through the woods of West Georgia with another 20% on grass.
Revised Schedule of Races:
8/28 (Middle School Races)
4:30pm-Championship Boys (10 runners) chip timed
4:50pm-Championship Girls (10 runners) chip timed
5:15pm- Boys(Unlimited) Coaches responsible for recording time
5:35pm-Girls (Unlimited) Coaches responsible for recording time
The high school teams will be split into A and B teams. This will be based off of team size and distance of travel. Varsity Races will have a limit of 7 runners unless you are bringing more than 40 runners, in that case you can put 10 in varsity races to take a load off of the jv numbers.
8/29 (High School Races)
7:30am Varsity Boys A(7-10 runners) must be able to run sub 30min 5k
7:55am Varsity Girls A(7-10 runners) must be able to run sub 30min 5k
8:25am JV Boys A(Unlimited)
8:50am JV Girls A(Unlimited)
9:20am Varsity Boys B(7-10 runners)must be able to run sub 30min 5k
9:45am Varsity Girls B (7-10 runners)must be able to run sub 30min 5k
10:15am JV Boys B (Unlimited)
10:40am JV Girls B (Unlimited)

Awards will be handed to top 10 athletes in each race as they come through the finish. Team scores will be announced at the conclusion of the JV Girls Race for high school and following the middle school girls race.
Cost
High School: $65 dollars per division or $120 per team for both JV and Varsity.
Middle School: $50 dollars per team, both boys and girls included
*Each Race will be professionally timed. High school will be chip timed, whereas middle school will be bib timed.
