City Schools of Decatur has made the difficult decision to suspend all sports and activities through at least Sept. 25. Therefore, this meet will not take place.
We hope to host this meet in September of 2021. Good luck to everyone!
This is Decatur's first invitational meet on our brand new course at Legacy Park! We hope this will be the start of a meaningful tradition. Since it is our first meet, we are limiting it to the first five teams who sign up. We plan to expand the number of participants in years to come.
The two-loop, spectator friendly course is on grass and dirt paths, with no paved surfaces. About 2/3 of the course is through wood/forest terrain.
Meet Schedule:
8:30 AM - Varsity Boys (12 runners - under 30 minutes)
9:00 AM - Varsity Girls (12 runners - under 30 minutes)
9:30 AM - JV Boys (15 runners)
10:00 AM - JV Girls (15 runners)
10:45 AM - CoEd Open Race (Unlimited)
Coaches and parents are welcome to run in the open race to experience our beautiful course.
Timing:
The race will be professionally timed and chipped.
Please ensure that any unused chips are turned in at the timing tent.

Entry Fees:
$125 per team, $250 max per school.
Non-high school runners in the open race are $10 each.
