MEET OVERVIEW

We will be hosting 5K runs again on the permanent course the City of Roswell built for cross country with wide running paths and plenty of shade running along sections of the Chattahoochee River. Most of the course is crushed gravel and the rest is grass. As always, great music, good food, awesome T-shirts!

Admissions

Roswell Parks and Recreation is not allowing us to charge for parking or admission this year, so the meet is free.  However our expenses for the meet have actually gone up so we ask spectators to donate $5 per person, $10 per family so we can continue to have the meet.  We will not have anyone making change, just monitoring a donations bucket.  Please help us out.  


PARKING

There are two options for parking:

Garrard's Landing: Cars must arrive at the park BEFORE 7:30AM, after that all parking is offsite.

Offsite :  FREE parking and shuttle bus service to Garrard's Landing. 

Off site parking is at 2600 Holcomb Bridge Road, West of the park 2 miles.  It is across from Holcomb Bridge Middle School in the old Target parking lot.



RACE SCHEDULE

6:30-7:30 am Packet pick up near the finish chute

7:50 am Varsity Boys 5K (top 10 runners)

8:15 am Varsity Girls 5K (top 10 runners)

8:50 am JV Boys 5K

9:25 am JV Girls 5K

AWARDS Varsity &JV  at 10:15 am on the hillside near the announcer's tent.

Individual: Top 20 runners in each race will receive a medal. 

Team awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

TEAM BUSES & VANS

 Large buses MUST park offsite. 



15 Passenger or smaller buses/vans driven by coaches can park onsite.



TIMING

The Perfect Timing Group will provide timing services. Runners will need to attach chips to their shoes. Volunteers will be in the finish chute to help remove the chips and collect them. Your team will be charged for any chips not returned.

Results will be posted near the park pavilion restrooms ASAP. They will also be posted live on MileSplit.

TEAM FEES

$250 per high school ($125 per girls' or boys' high school team).

Teams with less than 10 runners: $100 per gender, $200 per team.
