Course Info: This meet was held for 10 consecutive seasons (2007-2016) on the same course as we will run this year!  The course itself has a little bit of everything.  The races will start directly behind the football stadium in a grass field and will have a fast finish with the last couple hundred meters run on the track.  There is a good mixture of faster flat sections, as well as a few tough hills.  This course has traditionally run times very similar to the state course at Carrollton and always serves as a great indicator of fitness heading into the last few meets of the season. In addition to the flat/faster sections, there is a long gradual hill in the middle of the race, as well as a few shorter/steeper hills.  Runners will repeat the back part of the course twice, so they will hit these hills twice just like at Carrollton. Come prepare your team for the State course!  In regard to the surface, runners will be racing over dirt, grass, a couple short trail sections, as well as a few small sections of asphalt/concrete.  With all the construction and development around campus over the years, unfortunately we can't fully avoid the pavement.  For this reason we recommend runners remove metal spikes or wear road flats/trainers if they choose.

Fans/Spectators: The races will start and finish at the football stadium, but the majority of the race will take place on the opposite side of campus.  Spectators wishing to see more than the start and finish should go stand near the tennis courts and practice football field.
