Update:

Lakesides Early Bird Invitational has been renamed the Reese Hoffa Invitational.  As you can guess, the invitational will honor Lakeside's alumnus and World Champion and Olympic medalist Reese Hoffa.

Dear Coaches,

We are excited to extend an invitation for your teams to

participate in the Reese Hoffa Invitational on

Saturday, February 9th, 2019 at the NEW Lakeside Athletic Complex at Lakeside High School, Evans GA.  This meet is sanctioned by the GHSA.

Lakeside is located in Augusta, home of the Masters Golf Tournament.
We hope that you will be able to attend our meet this year. You will be provided a luncheon for all coaches and bus drivers.

Payments: Because it's our opening ceremony, the entry fee is only

$75.00 per school or $10.00 per individual for teams less than 8 athletes. Make

checks payable to Lakeside Track and Field. Individual entries will be accepted

if room is available. All entry fees should be mailed to Lakeside High School,

533 Blue Ridge Drive, Evans, GA 30809 in the attention of Derrick Myers.

Entries: Each school may enter a maximum of five (5) competitors

per individual event. Each school may enter two (2) relay teams per relay

event. An athlete may enter a maximum of 5 events. Two relays and any one of

the following combinations: (a) 3 field events, (b) 2 field events and 1

running event, or (c) 1 field event and two running events. All entries must

meet GHSA eligibility requirements. Entry will be on GaMilesplit at http://lakesideearlybird.milesplit.com.

We will have a 4 x 800 relay.




TIMING: GHS FAT timing system

AWARDS: Team trophies awarded for the first and second place teams. Medals

awarded to 1st place finishers. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Concessions and restrooms will be available on site.

UNIFORMS: Because it's early in the season and some uniforms may not have

arrived, uniform rules will be relaxed.
Coaches Meeting starts at 9:00am.
