Entry Information:
The entry fee for this meet is $100 per school. Bring cash or make check payable to GWA. The admission for the meet will be $5 for adults, $3 for Students or $10 for the family. We will have concessions but they will be limited. Our facility is still a work in progress. #trusttheprocess
Entries/Limitations:
We will allow 3 entries for each of the field events. They will compete in a Relay format so all three athletes' throw or jump will be added together for the team score. In the individual running events we will allow 4 entries but will only score the best two per team. (EX. If Dacula finishes 1st, 2nd, and 5th in an the 1600 m run, they will only score the first two so they would get 18 pts, for that event) The relays 4x100, 4x800, and 4x400 we will only allow two teams to be entered. We will run the 4x800 in the place of the normal 800 m run.
Deadline to enter is March 15 @ 10 pm - No Exceptions!!
Field Events will get four attempts, no finals (except for HJ/PV)
Admission:$5 for adults, $3 for Students or $10 for the family (immediate family) We don't have stands! So make sure your parents and fans bring their lawn chair.
Concessions:Concessions will be limited
Scoring:All times will be posted on Milesplit by the end of the evening. Toes Up Timing will be timing the meet.
Parking:Park your buses in the lot beside the tennis courts off of McDaniel Street. This is behind the school off of Michael Etchinson Road.
We will have some drinks on the infield for the coaches all day. We will have something for you for breakfast in the morning coaches meeting and some type of box lunch for lunch for the coaches only. We should have all Field events covered by coaches and/or parents but feel free to jump in if you see them struggling.
