26th ANNUAL CITY AND COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP
CROSS COUNTRY MEET
DATE: Monday, October 10th,2016
PLACE: Grizzard Park, 1170 Turner Chapel Rd SE, Rome.
COURSE: All races will be run on the
5K cross country course at Grizzard Park. This course is flat with only one hill. 95% of the course is grass and the rest is gravel trails.
ENTRY FEES:$35.00 per Varsity Team (boys and girls are separate teams). Free for Junior Varsity Team if Varsity Team is running
Make checks payable to: Wolf Running Nation Foundation
AWARDS: 1st and 2nd place trophies for boys and girls Varsity Teams. Medals for the top 10 individuals in varsity races. Medals for the top 10 finishers in the JV races.
FACILITIES:Restrooms, water fountains, picnic tables. No dressing facilities, dress before arriving. Food concessions.
INVITED TEAMS: Armuchee, Coosa, Rome, Model, Pepperell, Unity Christian, and Darlington. This is a meet just for the city and county schools in Floyd only
ENTRY LIMITS: 7 runners per varsity team. This will eliminate the necessity for adjusting varsity scoring. All other runners will run the open race. GHSA sanctioned.
PARKING: Park in the main parking lot, in front of the main building.
