Wednesday, March 16, 2016 Langston Hughes JV Invitational

Entries per Event: Each school is allowed 4 entries for individual events. Relays are limited to 2 teams per school. All entries are due by Sunday, March 13th at 11:59 pm.
Entry Fees: $75 each team or $130 for both girls/boys teams. Checks should be made out to Langston Hughes Track & Field and mailed to 7510 Hall Rd. Fairburn, GA 30213 Attn: Tamika Freeman. All entry fees are due by Wednesday, March 9th. IF YOU CAN'T PAY YOUR FEES BY THE DUE DATE, PLEASE CALL/EMAIL TO INFORM US OF PAYMENT.
FIELD EVENTS: (Participants should report to their respective competition areas.)
4:30 PM- BOYS' SHOT PUT, GIRLS DISCUS, GIRLS TRIPLE JUMP, BOYS LONG JUMP, GIRLS HIGH JUMP, BOYS POLE VAULT
5:15 PM-GIRLS SHOT PUT, BOYS DISCUS, BOYS TRIPLE JUMP, GIRLS LONG JUMP, BOYS HIGH JUMP, GIRLS POLE VAULT
RUNNING EVENTS: The order of all Running event heats will be girls followed by boys. In the event we get ahead of schedule, we will stay ahead of schedule.

Scoring: 8 places will be scored (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1).
Medals: Individual medals will be given to the top 3 finishers in each event.
Trophies: Team trophies will be given to the top 2 boy/girl teams.
Warm-up Area: The warm-up area is the area behind the visitor's stand in the throwing area. No warm-ups are permitted on the infield after the first call for the 4x800 relay.
Drop-off: All buses will park in the back lot of the parking lot. Teams will enter through the gates in front of the warm-up field. Parents and spectators should drop off and park in the parking lot near the gymnasium and enter at the front gates of the stadium. All spectators will be asked to present a ticket at all gates. If you leave, your hand must be marked to re-enter or re-entrance is not permissible.
Tents: Tents are permissible in the home and visitors stands from the middle to the top. No tents allowed near the finish line.
