Coaches,

You have been invited to the 8th annual Milton Invitational Showcase Feb. 27th and 28th. I would like give you an early look at what should be a very competitive meet. This year our meet will be ran over two days, a Friday and Saturday, but still count as 1 meet. If you take a moment and look over our schedule you will see we have added a couple of new running events by balancing our meet out with events that will highlight each teams distance runners. On the Feb. 27th , we will bring in a DJ to play music during longer running events. Our goal is to continue running a timely meet, so we will still have limits on entries which varies by events and measurement opportunities for non-minimal mark jumpers.

Awards: We will award the top 3 performers in each event and will be award medals. The Top Girls and Boys teams, Runner up Girls and Boys, and Top overall team will receive a trophy.

Scoring: All scoring will be based on day 1 and 2 results. Looking forward to an exciting 2015 Track and Field season, please let me know if you'll plan to attend 1 or both days.

Meet entry cost $5 Adults and $3 Students

Coaches meeting(s): The coaches meeting will take place 4:30 on Friday, and 9:00 on Saturday near the timing tent in the infield area. Coaching packet will include 2 Meet programs (printed/emailed) along with event schedules, meal tickets, and relay lane assignments. All events will have USATF officials working them, with the exception to HJ. On the day of the meet 1-for-1 swaps will be allowed, as well as scratchesNO add-ons. If you have questions prior to the meet please let me know.

Coaches Hospitality: Each coach will be provided with a meal ticket to use at the concession stand for 1 food item, a bag of chips, and a drink. Saturday morning a light continental style breakfast will be provided drinks (coffee/juice/water), bagels, donuts, and fruit.

Team Awards: Top Overall Team
Top Girl Team
Top Boy Team

Medals: 1st, 2nd, 3rd place will receive medals (individual and relay teams)

Concession: We will have a full concession stand offering a variety of cooked foods, warm/cold drinks, snacks, fruits, etc.

Merchandise Sales: Fine Designs will be on site selling T-Shirts/ sweatshirts/ and other merchandise.

Gate Entry Fee*: $5 Adults
$3 Students
*Please make your athletes are dressed in their track gear or they will be asked to pay for entry.

Horizontal jumps will be 4 attempts- (LJ, TJ) - No Finals Boys/ Girls. All measurements less than minimum distance will not be measured after 1st mark.
Minimum marks-
Long Jump- Girls-16ft; Boys-19ft (4 jumps, no finals)
Triple Jump- Girls-32ft; Boys-40ft (4 jumps, no finals)

Throwing events will be 4 Attempts- No Finals Boys/ Girls. All measurements less than minimum distance will not be measured after 1st mark.
Minimum marks-
Discus- Girls- 80ft; Boys- 110ft
Shot Put- Girls- 30ft; Boys-40ft

Vertical jumps please do not enter athletes in the High Jump or Pole Vault events that do not meet the opening height.
Opening Height-
High Jump- Girls-44; Boys-56
Pole Vault- Girls-7; Boys-9
