You may enter your top runners in either the Championship Race, the Varsity Gold Race, or the Varsity Cardinal Race. If your top runners are in the Championship races, then your JV will run the Championship JV races. If your top runners are in the Varsity Gold races, then your JV will run in the JV-Gold Race. If your top runners are in the Varsity Cardinal races, then you will run your JV in the JV-Blue races.
Please note that if you choose to run in the JV-C race and have already run in another JV race, per the new GHSA rule that only counts as 1 JV race on your schedule.
We will be using www.ga.milesplit.com again this year for entries.
Once the meet is set up and the password sent out, you will be able to go online anytime and enter your entire roster of potential athletes.
You do not need to designate which race they will run in-the number they are assigned will work in any race they run.
You will be assigned to the race you signed up for, unless notified otherwise.
Important Registration Notices :
Meet management reserves the right to switch teams to another set of races in order to fairly balance the races and make them as competitive as possible.
We will look at race results on www.ga.milesplit.com to determine if a team should move to another race.
No changes will be made to entries on race day.
Coaches: Please make sure all athletes have a number and that you run in the correct race!
Cost:
$100.00 for any Boy's Team
$100.00 for any Girl's Team
$200 if bringing both boys and girls teams.

Timing:
This year we will again be using the Perfect Timing group www.ptgrouponline.com.
We will be using chips that runners will attach to their shoes, and will need to return after the race.
We will have volunteers in the finish area to help remove the chips and collect them.
Please make sure all your runners return their chips or your school will be charged for them.
Results will be posted at the race ASAP. They will also be posted on our website (www.millcreekcrosscountry.com ) ASAP after the race, as well as on www.ga.milesplit.com.
Admission:
$4 for Adults
$2 for Children older than 10 years of age.
Awards:
Individual:
Championship, Varsity, and JV Races-Top 25 in each race will receive medals (11-25 at amphitheater once results are final, 1-10 at the awards ceremony).
JV-Blue-Top 25 Boys and Top 25 Girls at the amphitheater once results are final.
Low score award: If your team gets the lowest winning score in meet history, we will make a special plaque for you and send it to you.

6th Man Award: In the case of a tie for any place in any of the scored races, the 6th runner that breaks the tie will win an additional award.
Team:
Championship and Varsity Races-Top 3 teams in each varsity race. First place teams will also receive a bag for the 10 runners on the team.
We will also give one to the head coach!
Championship JV and JV-Gold-Top 3 teams in each race.
The boys and girls teams with the top average of the day will be added to our All Time Bests plaque. The fastest male and female will be added as well.
Concessions:
All day
o Coca Cola Products, fruit, and assorted snacks.
Breakfast
o Chick-Fil-A biscuits, coffee, hot chocolate, etc.
Lunch
o Chick-Fil-A sandwiches and BBQ
Hospitality Tent:
Located near Amphitheater behind the Concessions.
Will be set up for coaches to eat throughout the day, just present your GHSA card.
Important Notices:
Some water will be provided but coaches should also bring water for their teams.
Buildings at the college are off limits.
Train tracks behind the course are off limits. Also: NO TEAMS SHOULD IN ANY WAY INTERFERE WITH THE TRAINS OR THE TRAIN TRACKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please do not set up team tents around the finish line or amphitheater area. All tents should be in the field or behind the ropes course.
Nike meet shirts and other merchandise will be available for purchase. We will also have the very popular Nike tent again this year! The athlete for this year will be announced around late September/early October
