GHSA 5A Sectionals - A (Regions 1,4,5,7) 2014

Mount Zion Jonesboro's Boys had just 1 tumble with a DQ in the 100 meters, other than that miscue,  they are loaded and ready for bear at the Georgia Olympics.  Miller Grove and Northside Warner Robins had very successful meets for the Girls moving on to Albany Thursday loaded with top scorers. Pope's girls squad qualified their top scorers easily in Section A making them a contender in Albany this weekend. New Manchester also did well in the sprints, relays and jumps and Forest Park did well.

Ga.MileSplit is doing a series of interviews recognizing selected Coaches for the next 3 weeks.  In this article Coach Chad Walker from Starrs Mill HS is grilled.  Chad has been at Starrs Mill since 2005 and hosted the Nike Panther Relays, Long Orthodontics FNL and the 5A West Sectionals (A). Coach Walker learned from some of the best coaches in the USA including Loren Seagraves,  Bill Scheskey,  Lee Gower, David Ravenscraft, Tom Williams and Craig Hines.
