Savannah State High School Invitational Saturday, March 23, 2013
Entry information - All entries will be done online, Deadline will be on the preceding Wednesday @ 11:59pm, no additions after deadline
Entry Fees - $75 per team ( Boys and Girls = 2 teams) Make checks payable to Savannah State University-Track and Field
Timing - Full automatic timing (Hytek and Finishlynx)
Equipment-1/4 pyramid spikes only. Any athlete violating this rule will be suspended for the remainder of the meet.
Packet Pickup @ 9:00am @ the track site
Entries - Unlimited entries per individual events, only two (2) Relay teams per event.
Attempts - Three Throws/Jumps
NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TRACK AND FIELD RULES WILL BE IN EFFECT.
(Preliminary time schedule, will be adjusted when final entries are received)
11:00am - Discus- Pole Vault, Long Jump -Girls
Shot put, Long Jump - Boys
11:05am - 3200 meter Run - Girls
12:30pm - Shot Put, Triple Jump - Girls
Discus, Pole Vault, Triple Jump - Boys
1:15pm - High Jump, 4 x 100 Relay - Girls/Boys
1:35pm - 1600 meter Run - Girls / Boys
2:00pm - 400 meter Dash - Girls / Boys
2:25pm - 100 meter Dash - Girls / Boys
2:50pm - 100 meter Hurdles - Girls
3:05pm - 110 Meter Hurdles - Boys
3:15pm - 800 meter Run - Girls / Boys
3:30pm - 200 meter dash - Girls / Boys
3:50pm - 300 meter Hurdles - Girls / Boys
4:10pm - Boys 3200 meter run - Boys
4:25pm - 4 x 400 Relay - Girls / Boys
Good afternoon coaches,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you if we have not had the privilege to meet previously. I am Ted Whitaker, Head M/W track and Field coach here at Savannah State. This year we will be hosting two (2) High School invitational Track and Field meets on our campus and new Rekortan Track and Turf Field at Ted Wright Stadium. It is our intent to make these experiences the best for you and your athletes in the Coastal Empire.
Below please indicate if you would like to be invited to compete in one or both of these meets.
