2013 Gwinnett County Track and Field Meet

Coaches,
The 2013 County Track and Field Meet is scheduled for Saturday March 23rd at Mill Creek High School. Finals for running events will be held Monday March 25th, with the 27th as the Rain date. The following information will hopefully help clear up any questions you might have about the meet.
Cost is $180 per SCHOOL Payable to Mill Creek Track and Field Booster Club
Entries should be made on-line at GA.MILESPLIT.com
Please use VERIFIED marks for your athletes from GA.MILESPLIT.COM not time trials or relay splits.
NO SENIORS in the Junior Varsity division.
JV relays and B Relay team times should be adjusted by coaches. Please adjust your B Relay teams since it does default to your A Relay team season best.
Two entries per event in Varsity and Junior Varsity, two relays in each relay race per division.
Entry deadline is Wednesday March 20th by Midnight
Performance lists will be emailed to coaches Thursday afternoon to check for mistakes or omissions. Corrections should be emailed back Friday morning so corrections can be made.
Heat sheets will be emailed to head coaches sometime around noon on Friday.
Changes may be made early Saturday morning on a 1 for 1 basis but we will not re-seed the meet. Changes must contain name of athlete scratching and the full name of the replacement athlete and be on the form that will be provided.
Athletes may compete in only ONE division-(Varsity OR Junior Varsity)
Please make your athletes are aware of all rules regarding sportsmanship, electronics in competition area, jewelry and uniforms.
Implements will be weighed at the meet.
Pole vaulters will be weighed also and should be on legal poles rated at or above their body weight.
All warm ups will be held either on the practice field adjacent to the Field House on the middle school asphalt track.
NO ATHLETES ALLOWED IN FIELD HOUSE COACHES ONLY
Absolutely no tents in the home stands. You may use the visitor stands for tents, the edge of the practice field.
No tents in front of field house near clerk area.
If the entries in the Varsity and Junior varsity 3200 meter runs are over 35 we will split into two heats. Please note the change in the schedules to allow time to add these extra heats.
