1600, and 3200 Will run as Finals

ALL FIELD EVENTS WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE RUNNING EVENTS BEGIN

SCRATCH Press Box, 12:30pm Thursday. Changes Friday for the 3200m run only
MEETING

RESULTS Will be posted below press box.
They will be announced as soon as they are available.
Final results will be emailed to each head coach.
Sectional qualifiers will be listed on GHSA site by April 24.

FIELD EVENTS Every contestant in the shot, discus, long jump and triple jump will
be given 3 attempts with the top 9 qualifying for the finals. Pole Vault will go up 6 and High Jump 2 and will use five alive.
Shot and Discus will be weighed and measured at the field house.
Pole vaulters will be weighed before jumping.

COACHING All coaching or encouraging athletes during running events must be done from outside the track or from designated coaching areas.

INFIELD Access to the infield will be restricted to officials and competitors during the running events! Athletes must enter at the clerk of course entrance at the end of the 100 straight away outside the fence. Athletes will be allowed to warm up on practice field only!
TENTS We will allow tents on the visitor side or on the plaza level. No tents in Home stands.

FACILITIES The track is a 8 lane all-weather track.
---1/4 inch or less spikes only
Horizontal runways are Mondo
The throwing pads are concrete
There will be no dressing area at the stadium.

PARKING Teams should be unloaded and there will be NO BUS Parking Area. Please notify your processor to drop and return. All cars will park in the stadium parking lot.

GATE FEE $5.00 for everyone. Coaches must enter through the GHSA pass gate.

CONCESSIONS There will be a full concession area provided

HOSPITALITY Coaches hospitality will be in the Field house

All appeals regarding misapplication of the rules must be submitted within 30 minutes of the announced results

RULES All National Federation rules will apply including jewelry and
Uniforms and sportsmanship. Please make your athletes aware of all of those rules

RELAYS Relay teams must be listed on your entry form with all alternates included. Must be completed by scratch meeting on Thursday

T-SHIRTS Region t-shirts will be sold by Georgia Promotions.

CLERK OF
COURSE The clerking area will be located outside the fence under the tent. All athletes must report to this area for check-in by the second call.
WARM UP AREA Warm up area for all running events will be on the practice field. Soccer will practice in the afternoon so we will have a section of the field
RUNNING EVENTS WILL NOT BEGIN UNTIL ALL FIELD EVENTS ARE COMPLETED

MEET DUTIES Assignments will be sent out before the Region Meet
All measuring tapes will be provided. Volunteers will be assigned to help you with non-officiating duties (raking, putting up cross bars, shot/discus retrievals).
