Given the holiday weekend, if a coach cannot attend the meet, is it possible for a runner to register and pay as an independent?

High school athletes must represent their school, this is a GHSA rule. . Coach does not need to be present. We will take HS runners even if there are not enough runners to make a team of 5. There is a per person fee. Contact the meet director. Middle school, we will take unattached, club, or school athletes.

Ok - thanks. So does a Coach need to accompany an individual runner, or can the School Leadership/Administration delegate an adult to represent the school?

Yes, another school representative can represent your coach. You need to clear that with your school coach.
