The Therrell girls posted some pretty impressive numbers in the 1st day of competition at the Morehouse Relays. Brittany Long started things off with the number one qualifying time in the 100m with a 11.71. Quanes Cleckley was equally impressive in the 100m hurdles posting a 14.20 qualifying mark. The girls 4x100m team also posted the top qualifying time, running a 47.41, finishing ahead of Southwest Dekabl in 48.71.
The Southwest Dekalb girls won the 4x800 with an impressive 9:50.59, showing the depth of their team in all events. Brittney Robbins, also of Southwest Dekalb, posted the longest triple jump of the season, going 38\'6.5\" to take top honors. Competition will ocntinue tomorrow.
