Women's Cross Country Wrap Up Season at NCAA South Regional

Scott, Winslow lead the Owls young squad

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Kennesaw State women’s cross country team finished 23rd at the NCAA South Regional at the Harry Pritchett Cross Country Course on the campus of the University of Alabama.

Head Coach Stan Sims only traveled with five athletes as the top runners for the Black and Gold were freshmen Lauren Scott and Vicky Winslow who finished simultaneously in 117th and 118th place as Scott posted a time of 23:16.3 and Winslow finished at 23:19.8 in the 6K race.

Sophomore Jessica Postlewite was the next Owl to cross the finish line as she finished 134th with a time of 23:41.7. Freshmen Sydney Williams finished 164th with a time of 24:40.3, while sophomore Trice Sweet finished 184th running the race in 26:07.5.
