Boys: The Brookwood Broncos showed that after a brief one-year hiatus,
they are back in contention for the State AAAAA title defeating AAAA
defender Marist by 6 points. The Broncos packed 5 runners in between 16:23
and 16:46 to hold off Marist who had 3 of the top 4, Iain Turnbull led the
way.

Girls: Lakeside defeated South Forsyth by 2 points as Jennifer Barbi won
in 19:16. AAAA defender Marist was 5th.

The Parkview boys showed that they haven\'t missed a beat with an impressive
win averaging 2nd in all five stages. Ben Hubers of McEachern had the
fastest time of the day in 9:51. The Collins Hill girls won for the 4th
year in a row just missing their second consecutive perfect score with 6
points. Each 2 mile stage is scored as a separate race and then added to
the other stages. Jackie Drouin of Collins Hill won for the second year in
a row over the state class final stage in 11:29.


Upcoming this weekend, the Clara Bowl Invitational at Berry College in Rome
- perhaps the biggest invitational in GA - certainly one of the most
popular.
