Lauren Woodall is well on her way to a successful high school career in the hurdles. The Pope sophomore had a strong showing last year, making the state championships in the 100 hurdles, not an easy feat for a freshman. But this year she's clearly stepped up her game. She started off the season running only 1/100th off of her PR in the 100 hurdles. But then she dropped another 0.6 seconds off her time, running 14.22 to get the win at Eagle Icebreaker on Saturday. Then she backed that impressive win up with a second win in the 300m hurdles. you can see her win in the 100 hurdles above and her win in the 300m hurdles below. Clearly the future is bright for this young lady.
