Julia Anastasio from Richmond Hill could have a breakout year this fall after an impressive freshman campaign last year
Cross Country season is right around the corner. That means it's time to take a look at the top returning runners for the upcoming season. Returning rankings are a fun way to see how things are going to stack up. I always like to look at both top returning teams and individuals in each classification as well as all class. I also like to break down the top returners by grade too in order to get a deeper look at who might break out.
So we will start with the top returners by grade. I think it's too hard to include the rising freshman as we rarely know where all of them are going for high school. They'll get their own rankings later in the season. For now we will focus just on the kids who competed last year and rank them based on their PR's. In order to make the ranking you needed to be among the top 500 in your class. Here we've got the sophomore class.
