Kennesaw State men's cross country ranked in South Region Poll for sixth straight week

KENNESAW, Ga. - The Kennesaw State men's cross country team was included in the NCAA South Region poll for the sixth straight week, coming off their victory in the Atlantic Sun Championship on October 31.

The Owls were ranked 11th in the poll released by the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, higher than any other team in the A-Sun. Nabil Hamid, Jaakko Nieminen, and Nathan Haskins all finished in the top ten at the A-Sun Championship, as the Black and Gold tallied 40 points on their way to victory, less than half the points totaled by runner-up East Tennessee State, who finished with 82.

Stan Sims and his squad will get the chance to compete against the best teams in the conference on November 14 at the NCAA South Region Championship in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
