There were many standout performances at The Outdoor Nationals. One athlete in particular, though, caught the eyes of many when she jumped to a US No. 1 mark.

In the girls triple jump, Kayla Pinkard set a huge personal best of 42-5.75 to win the title and to move up to the No. 1 performer of the season.

The Carrollton (GA) High School junior has been undefeated all season in this event. She's been hard to stop as her last six triple jump competitions have been over 40 feet.

Throughout the week, Pinkard earned over 67-percent of the votes for her performance. A big congratulations goes out to Pinkard on her US No. 1 triple jump leap and being undefeated through the regular and club season.

Now let's move on to Week 2 of the Club season's outdoor National Performer of the Week presented by New Balance poll.

Vote for whom you think should win this week's national honor following this most recent week of action. Voting will end Friday, and we'll recognize the winner every Monday during the unveiling of the newest poll. Better yet, each boy and girl winner will win a pair of New Balance shoes

We are requesting winners (or their parents or coaches) from each week to email Cory Mull at cory.mull@flosports.tv and Olivia Ekpone at olivia.ekpone@flosports.tv to notify us of your contact.

Vote below in the poll and let us know your thoughts in the comments. For reference, check our Top 25 Outdoor Performances of the Week. You can also vote in our National Boys Performer of the Week poll.
