As the indoor season begins to wrap up and state champions are crowned, Micayah Holland of Princess Anne (VA) earned National Girl's Performer of the Week honors for Week 13.

At the VHSL Class 5 State Indoor Track and Field Indoor Championships, she defended her 55m title and earned another gold medal in the 300m. Both events resulted in personal bests of 6.98 and 40.87 seconds, respectively. In the sandpit, she leaped 17-3.25 to earn the bronze medal.

After being crowned the state champion in two events, the sophomore accumulated about 43-percent of the votes throughout the week. A congratulations goes out to Holland on setting new personal bests and being a state champion for another year.

Now let's move on to Week 14 of our Indoor National Performer of the Week poll.
