Girls - 60% of our list was idle this week and basically stay put. Marietta and Hillgrove switch places. Missing runners continues to be a theme this year. We have two newcomers this week in Pace Academy who beat out Mcintosh at the Mustang Stampede, and Oconee County who won Bob Roller. It's worth mentioning that Oconee County is currently ranked ahead of their 3A foe, Westminster, who as of this week is not even on the watch list. It has been since 1983 that Westminster girls lost a state title to a public school. They have 30.5 state titles since then and each loss was at the hands of a private school. Oconee County has been very good for years, but has been hidden in the shadow of private schools. Is it finally their turn to shine?
