Boys Squads That Have Busted Out Of The Gate Fast In August

Considering the pandemic in Georgia during summer training, it hasn't slowed down quite a number of strong boys squads from busting out of the gate quickly. Bob Blastow's course was in great shape and everyone took advantage of it. Huge meet coming up Saturday at North Georgia Championships at Lamar Murphy Park.

Harrison 7A- 2nd at Hoya 2-mile (Shelton-DNR), 2nd at Bob Blastow (:58 1-5 Split 15:14 avg)

Denmark 7A- beat 7A squads Walton, West Forsyth, South Forsyth, and 6A Pope. (1:30 1-5 Split | 17:01 avg)

Norcross 7A- finished 3rd at Bob Blastow behind Harrison (:57 1-5 Split 15:42 avg)

St. Pius X 5A- won Lambert Tri, 4th at Bob Blastow (:38 1-5 Split | 15:45 avg)

Blessed Trinity 5A- 5th fastest at Bob Blastow, easily won race 10. (0:45 1-5 Split | 15:47 Avg)

Pace Academy 2A- won Hoya 2-mile; and NEGA beating several 7A Gwinnett squads (:44 1-5 Split | 17:14 avg)

Starrs Mill 6A- 2nd behind Blessed Trinity in race 10 at Bob Blastow. (0:45 1-5 Split | 16:04 Avg)

Carrollton 6A- finished 5th behind St. Pius X at Bob Blastow, maybe the best Carrollton team this century in the making. (1:45 1-5 Split | 16:07 Avg)
