What were some of the highlights of your high school track and field career?

Highlights: Running 11.48 at state Running 23.53 at New Balance Nationals,  2 time 7A state champion in the 100m,  State champion in the 200m,  Nominated twice for Powerade All-Metro Winning MVP All four years, Winning All county .

Did you encounter any struggles or adversity along the way that you had to overcome?

Hurting my hamstrings and quad.



Aside from the competition, what was the best thing about being a part of your school's program?

Best thing about being apart of my schools program was always having people to be around and make you laugh everyday.

Are there any coaches or teammates that you've worked with over the past four years that you'd like to thank?

I'd like to thank Coach Jones, Coach Jeffers, Coach Carter, Coach Gail, Coach Mideau, Coach McDuffie for always motivating us to do our best and being there when we needed it the most.



How are you coping with COVID-19 and the looming possibility that your HS track career might very well be over?

COVID-19 has been hard on us but we are pushing through and hoping for the best.

What are your plans and goals for the future? Do you intend on continuing with the sport in college or in another capacity?

Yes, I am continuing my career at Arizona State University.



What advice would you give to a younger athlete who's hoping to have a successful and enjoyable high school career?

My advice would be to give your all in everything you do. Stay motivated because things will get hard.
