AAA Girls

It wasn't easy, but Augusta Prep defended their 2018 title defeating Frederica Academy out of St. Simon's Island by 1 point Saturday. 8th grader Aine Trapp led the way taking overall runnerup honors in 19:33 with Amy Riordan placing 6th (both holding plaques)  Frederica Academy was paced by Ellie Runyan placing 9th overall at 20:30.

Sr. Sovi Wellons of The Heritage School completely dominated the race for the Overall title clocking a 18:53 on the Albany State XC course. Sr, Charlotte Augenstein of host Deerfield-Windsor placed 3rd overall in a time of 19:40.

AAA Boys

Champ Porter Hill of Deerfield-Windsor

Porter Hill defended his 2018 individual title while leading the Knights to a 2nd place team finish posting the winning time of 16:21. Team mate Graham Ford came across the mats 3rd at 16:49.

Augusta Prep put 4 runners in the top 10 spots scoring 31 points winning the boys team title by 11 points over Deerfield. Frosh Hayes Trapp was in contention the entire race and top harrier for AP taking runnerup honors posting a 16:26. Ben Monnig placed 4th in 16:59 with Jack Collier 6th at 17:20.

Individual Champ Larry 'ZERO' Orsini (c) 
Yes, they call him 'Zero' (you will have to ask him), he has his own website, including race video! Larry Orsini of The Cottage School is the AA Overall Champ putting down a time of 16:47 leading his squad to a 2nd place team finish. Monsignor Donovan captured the AA Boys Team title scoring 27 points led by their trio of seniors. The Rams' swept the 2-4 positions with Will Auslander leading the herd taking runnerup honors clocking a time of 17:07, followed in by Nevan Norrell in 17:52 and Johann Lopez at 17:55. (no photos)

Champ Anna Bartlett of Oak Mountain

She's done it before and she did it again. Anna Bartlett of Oak Mountain Academy in Carrollton defended her 2018 title winning the AA Girls Overall crown. Bartlett turned in a time of 20:17, maybe in 2020 we will see her run at Carrollton Orthopedic Invitational.. Allie Brown of nearby Crisp Academy had a big race taking 2nd overall not too far back in 20:46. Brentwood School out of Sandersville won the team title scoring 43 points besting Briarwood Academy by 3 points (Warrenton)
