Wade And Cadeau Win Overall Titles At Darlington

Seniors dominated the Varsity boys race at Darlington taking up the top 7 spots with Whitefield Academy's Devin Wade dominating the race winning by :34 clocking a 15:57 on the moderately quick layout. #4 ranked All-Class South Forsyth bested #5 Walton by 26 points as their top 5 finished (2+5+6+7+9) Brennan Bower was overall runnerup at 16:31 with Michael Patterson placing 5th at 17:13. Walton was led by Connor Old's 3rd place effort of 17:04 with Zac Shaffer close behind in 17:05.  APS squad North Atlanta was 3rd as a team followed by Signal Mountain (TN)

Sr. Madelynne Cadeau won her first Invitational this season posting a 19:26

The varsity girls race was a batle of 7A powers as #1 South Forsyth held off #7 Walton by 26 points to claim the team title. The Eagles' placed 5 girls in the top 9 spots led by Madelynne Cadeau's Overall win as she turned in a 19:26 performance. Also chipping in were Emma O'Connor 3rd (20:39), Carmel Yonas 5th (20:56) and Sophia Baker 6th (21:16)  The Raiders were paced by Sarah Burwell's runnerup performance of 20:04.  Reese Neumann of Holy Innocents raced to 4th place in a time of 20:40 White County was a strong 3rd teamwise followed by Signal Mountain in 4th

Colin McClelland helped South Forsyth's JV squad perfect score the race winning in a time of 18:21

Walton's JV girls returned the favor perfect scoring their race led by Arden Keeter's win in 22:09 (no pic)

Morgan Grace Sheffield led Great Strides to the MS title posting a 12:07

It was a photo finish between Great Strides' Hayden Nicholason (L) and a diving Reid Latimer with both clocking 11:10's in another dominant performance by their team

Soren Chapman of St. Mary's Catholic was victorious in the Elementary Mile going 6:44 with Mason Starr of Cherokee Youth Track (rear) 2nd in 6:46, Janelle Taylor of St. Mary's was the top girl in 8:12
