Calling an audible and going against the 7A ranker this week because we couldn't quite agree. Call this my Wingfoot prediction (minus Brookwood and Decatur who won't be there). Disagree? Then PLEASE go post yours on the message board! I'd love to compare after the race (just keep it friendly). The fact is that there are so many teams that could beat each other on any given Sunday...err...Saturday...err...Friday this week. Seriously, how exciting is it that Wingfoot is Friday night? And it's going to be cool weather? I'm pretty pumped. 7A dominates this week's rankings with 8 of the top 10 spots, but Harrison still holds the top spot. Hard to say if it's justified as I know nothing about the course, but the fact that Sully Shelton and Andrew Jones barely broke 16 tells me it's probably not very fast. The smaller schools are just on the outside looking in and ready for their chance to prove themselves under the lights. In all honesty, there are probably 5 other teams not even on the watch list who could make a case for a top 10 ranking. It really is that close this year, but there's not room for everybody on this list. So if you want to see your name, get after it this weekend!
