It's here... a new school year is almost underway for many schools, and the GHSA allowed its schools to begin 'Official' practice sessions that began this past Monday for serious programs. Everyone should take care and adhere to 'Heat Policy' to protect the health of your harriers.
MileSplit Georgia will begin breaking down each class and gender by its returning runners beginning soon. Private schools will be more telling as many of last year's 8th graders ran in 5k's for them and will reflect in the team standings unlike Public schools.
The first meets of the season will blast off the start line beginning on Saturday 8/10, with most schools beginning their seasons on 8/17 or 8/24. MileSplit GA will began comprehensive coverage on 8/24 at the Saucony Battle of Atlanta. Good luck and everyone have a great season this Fall (well, still Summer for us)
